
I can't understand it much because of the bad translation, but if I comprehend it correctly, this Tilburg isn't actually a bad person? Miesa keeps calling him a fraud because he went against orders?

So basically you might remember that they have a cousin who’s a grand duke and is impotent. He attempted a rebellion against the king which Tilburg was initially involved in. However, in an attempt to gain favor from the King so that he could marry (and save) Miesa, Tilberg ratted out the rebellion to the king. The Grand Duke is the one who called him a traitor.
Miesa is scared of telling her husband because she knows that he values loyalty and because she doesn’t want him to get more involved in a rebellion plot or get more visible in the eyes of the King
