After reading first 5 chapters you can skip without problem to chapters 45 or 50 because almost nothing happened and what happened will be repeated... so author is basically recycling information with a bit add on... I also usually love the managing territory trope but in this one, it's just few ideas lose idea without deeper thought put in it.
