hello i want to read king's maker, can someone please kindly explain to me why the mature one have less chapters than than the censored one? thank you!
I suggest u read the censored version first bc it has season 1(up to ch 37) and this one’s actually just the mature/uncut version of the second season of the series. After you finish this, you can continue with this link for the third season. Hope this helps https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/king_s_maker/uu/iur_chapter-50/pg-1/
lmao thats nonsense. the all ages editions are purely for marketing and business purposes. korea has strict laws about minors accessing "mature" content. so if a series is not primarily pornographic/adult oriented in nature. meaning only a handful or less of sex scenes per season. its usually a guarantee that it will have an All Ages edition made. its not some Artistic reasoning becuz sex somehow spoils the work. thats nonsensical. this is partially a love story and sex is a natural component of that. but its not the main focus of the work, and anyone who reads it would know this without any extra censorship applied. on korean platform bomtoon where its serialized first its "mature" edition is actually labelled "complete" edition. ie the series without any heavy cuts. meaning thats the one u want if u are able to verify that u are an adult reader. this allows the publishers and authors to market their work on the main page to anyone who uses bomtoon and not just verified adult readers. esp since kids read webtoons as much as or more than adults. i hope this clears things up.
No. there are 3 seasons but season 1 is its own separate entity altho it also doubles as the first "season". king's maker 1 takes place when the main charas are very young, so children to early teens. and then triple crown takes place in early adulthood. there is a notable timeskip between end of 1 and beginning of triple crown. the reason triple crown gets to have mature scenes in it now is cuz our characters are adults in an established relationship vs in s1 when neither was the case. however there i still not that many erotic scenes and as s1 was all ages accessible, there are separate versions made that cut out completely any of the sex scenes from the complete version of the comic. that one is marketed and serialized first even tho its the cut version and not the full version. places like bomtoon, le,zhin, and ta.ppytoon all have king maker series with 1 and triple crown separate. which is why i wish mangago had done so as well it is VERY confusing to people. and the fact that two versions exist is also confusing. this graphic from the author's twitter might also help explain things: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Eo3VNF1UcAIrFjY?format=jpg&name=medium (chapters in this case refer to "seasons" and here again triple crown and king maker original is separated out.)
ur comment wasnt confusing, the confusion is based on how mangago is labelling the manga vs how its labelled on other sites that publish it. thus resulting in people not knowing where in the story they are supposed to be or start.
and u recommending them read the non mature version is perfectly fine. my issue was ur statement that the full version is withheld so people wont be distracted from the plot by all the sex that is (not) happening in the complete edition which is ofc nonsensical since theres hardly any R19 content in it. similar to how Ennead complete ver and cut ver differ very little from each other minus a handful of chpts.
i can't believe i saw the comeback of yaoi hands
