Sometimes, it's not really about the art style. I don't like how it's drawn but I was so immersed with the story. The Top is a bit of an ass but I think I can tolerate because Uke is just so nonchalant, I feel sorry for Seme's ego lol. Their personalities really match. I hope the Uke remains not clingy until the end.
This is so good because the story is so unique without even trying to be unique. It's funny, sexy, goofy, HOT and even though the FL is living a miserable life she didn't turn out to be your common pathetic, goody-two-shoes damsel in distress but she's not that arrogant, prideful, strong , i-don't-need-a-man kinda vibe. The ML is also not your typical dominant alpha type of vibe. I was just reading out of curiosty at first but now I just love it! It's just perfect so far.
So I read the Novel because I couldn't wait for ch5 and unfortunately I couldn't get past ch33. The way it was written was meh. The author was very detailed with the swimming thing, I'd give em that but nothing more. So I wish the manhwa version will redeem it for me, then I'll know if it was the story or how it was written that made me lose my patience lol
There's a slow romance tag for a reason lol. I personally think the novel is really good despite the slow start. It's 200+ chapters long after all, so perhaps some people just don't have the patience for slowburn and will not find it as enjoyable as others.
It's not the slow burn though that made me lose my patience. No Moral was a slow burn too but you can feel the main characters' chemistry early on, you feel something. I was already in chapter 33 and felt nothing from the 2 characters in the novel version. There's still more but I just didn't want to write a long ass comment. I will look forward to the manhwa version though because the reason might be the writing style, the way they worded things or stuff like that because I really like the plot.

But I just wanted to say that you haven't reached the good part yet. Volume 1 did feel long and wordy, but once you reach volume 2, the romance will start kicking in and it becomes good.
I want to get to that point ╥﹏╥ I really did try to ignore the things that I didn't like because I really wanted to read it but it exhausted me somehow lol. Subtle romance and slow burn is exciting but if you make it too wordy and you're just going around in circles, it makes the story dragging, like adding some irrelevant stuff that doesn't add value to the plot or repeating a flashback that could've been included in a previous flashback like it was okay if it was a different POV but it wasn't. I wrote a comment there in Novel updates that explains a bit more why I didn't like it. Maybe I'll get back to it when I have more time and energy to invest. Sometimes it also depends on the mood lol.
No No No I cannot continue on reading this despite how good the art is. First up, please don't ever dare to suggest sleeping with a man you have feelings for when you are not even sure of how they felt for you. Save yourself some major heartache and I mean major detrimental heartache. No matter how many times you say to yourself that you will not have any expectations, you will have them because you already have feelings. Girl please, don't make excuses. Better if you just confess and get it over with. I would have loved it if they took this route, I don't know why the author chose sex, probably for smut but nah I cannot. This is too weak. Secondly, confession was too early. The build up was meh, I can't feel it, I don't feel any desperation because remember both of them held back for 3 years. Thirdly, ML says he held back because he doesn't want FL to be riddled in some rumors but goes and sleeps with her. WTH? Isn't she too precious for that? for you to have held back that long? Lastly, Based on the comments seems like the story will become complicated that's probably why the confession was too early, because it wasn't the major conflict, but still, there was no build up for that moment. It was a deal-breaker for me because I feel like I already know how it's gonna be written moving forward and I'm not going to like it. Will probably check it after 2-3 years or when it's already done lol.
Agreed. 'The chase' or build up into the relationship is always my favourite part of a romance story. I think this is why I'm interested to see how the relationship with the FL's friend and the blonde jerk pans out (even though I hope it doesn't work out unless that guy's personality does a 180 degrees)

I'm gonna have major trust issues and it will take so much effort and time to get it back but bruh this author just brushed it under the rug. Also, it's ridiculous how they can form a "strong" bond with just a "fling" LDR relationship without having met each other, well technically, they haven't. It can start a strong relationship but it can never be a good foundation for a relationship lol because humans by nature will always put their best foot forward through their words but body language can never lie. In real life, please don't ever take online relationships seriously, only until you have met the person and got to know them personally. Given that, I'm still curious as to how the story will progress, it isn't a deal breaker for me yet. I think Geon will turn into omega as it was already foreshadowed in the early chapters before they met. Forgot the chapter LOL.
ML seems to have mental health issues especially the abuse he's experienced with his mother and most probably during the time he stayed with his father and the step mom. He seems obsessive to me. But that's if he's in the real world LOL. This is fantasy and he's HOT so I don't care. He can be obsessive with me in my fantasy and I would love it ╮(￣▽￣)╭ he's so HOT so I'm going to let him get away with it with.
