It's an intensely popular movie, but that's the exact plot of The Truman Show. You've probably already watched that though. I've heard Blood+ C has a similar plotline. If you're fine with action, you could also try:

Np! I'd totally recommend The Truman Show, it fits perfectly with your request and it's a great movie. The other two have similar plot points but they're less psychological and more action oriented.
Do any of you know of anything similar to ENNEAD? Doesn't have to be BL, I just like the Gods element and the complex relationships and twists that it has.

Also, it's fanservice. It's specifically aimed towards people who ship them or like that sort of thing. If you don't like it then good, cuz it's not for you nor is it canon so you can relax. Don't let a few pages of fanservice here and there content ruin the entire story for you, just ignore it and move on.
