hello!! is there someone reading this webtoon who can explain to me (without spoiling too much) if ~things~ will change? here's the thing: i've decided to give this webtoon a chance cause it looks cute, i'm currently on ch.15 but so far it's been rubbing me the wrong way. every time they had sex, it's the sunbae/seme who is being pushy and hosik doesn't want it. like i almost want to call it rape. at some point hosik is like "maybe i'm getting used to this" so i guess it's not entirely non-con (but still, imagine not being attracted to your partner and having to "get used to" being intimate like it's a chore?? yeah... no. i personally don't think it's romantic that he's just putting up with the sex.) on top of that, the sunbae seems stalker-ish and possessive (like he implies that he doesn't want hosik to have any friends, BIG red flag) in an unhealthy way. it feels like the author has tried to romanticize it but i can't help but to think that this type of behavior is toxic and creepy.
ANYWAYS, what i'm asking is will this change? will the sunbae have a wake up call, become less creepy/possessive and will the sex become more consensual? like i said, this webtoon seems really cute but if it continues like this i'd rather drop it :(

No offense but.... Only you know your preference so....why even... ask when you are so ready to drop.
But I will answer anyway. Worth or not is something you decide. Yes story will get better. To the extend you will feel like reading or not, I dunno. Story is actually more complicated than it looks like. Goes even more complicated after this. (but maybe it's not for you,if you can't get past ch15 while being so wishy washy then you might as well not continue)
(sorry if I sound horrible)

you don't sound horrible, don't worry! yes, only i know my preference so i tried to explain my preference? it's simple really, i just wanna know if the sunbae becomes less creepy/stalkerish and if the sex becomes more consensual. i know several manga/webcomics that have been a bit... non-con-ish? and then turned around so if there's a chance this one turns around i def want to continue reading. :)

Hosik always liked sex with sunbae (and sunbae lol) but he is overwhelmed by the new strange feeling and sunbae pouring his lust and love into him in a very overbearing manner. And in general being shy, embarrassed, passive and reluctant is part of Hosik's lust. Their dynamic is nothing more than supposed to be sexy and exciting. However, Hosik is gonna become more outgoing and natural as time goes on, it's all part of their journey.
Sunbae is gonna stay possessive, but he has his reasons and they gonna learn and work on it and accept each other for who they are.
The beginning definitely comes off as icky but it's supposed to be this way. This is a story that takes cheesy sexy and old-fashioned "it's so wrong but feels so good" tropes that are usually a bit more shallow and mostly there to be "objectified" and gives them life in a very light-hearted way and with a tad of dark humor. There is no big redemption arc here but it's more a story of acceptance and realistic unconditional love. It's more complex than it seems but is also not meant to be taken too seriously. Even the art fits it perfectly (cheesy 80s, just like the trope but also very messy, faulty, but than again very alive, airy, light, beautiful).
If you are absolutely not into it then maybe the dynamic that Hosik and sunbae have will always irk you but I think it's a wonderful cute story with a twist and just one of a kind so I'd suggest to continue reading with an open heart and mind. And their baby is just the cutest, so just for that alone it's worth it!

I you don't think you can continue reading this then don't force yourself, this is just a fictional manhua, and why force yourself to read it if you don't want to??? As for me, I read the raws since it has come out and some of the later chapters seem really interesting and funny, plus this is like the first mpreg bl for me so it is special to me and that's why I continue reading this, (peace )

That's great! I think with yaoi you should always differentiate between smut and storyline because it basically is porn and story 2 in 1 but both have very different "conditions" and context. Of course both smut and story are both hyperbolized because fiction, but they are so for very different reasons. One is supposed to get your emotions, the other to excite you. So if you don't like the smut, just see it for what it, porn, and ignore it and concentrate on the story

Ugh I just love this so much already!! People who are confused by the story telling must have rushed through the pages and not read properly. I personally love that we're given backstories and, compared to many other current manga/webcomics, can connect to the characters so early on. I feel like this one will have a good plot.
if seungho really does have feelings for nakyum he better start treating him right. imo there's nothing he can really do to make up for all the shit he's already put nakyum through, but if they DO end up together it better be bc seungho changes into a better person and not bc of some stockholm syndrome bare minimum shit :/ please and thank you.
YOU DAMN RIGHT!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
