i'm on my 3rd (4th?) rereading of this webtoon and once again, i can't help but think pilgyeon's story is so regrettable. i felt like parts of his life was so sad and i almost wish he could have gotten a redemption arch instead. thinking about how he was so lonely, how he never received any love from his parents. also in one flashback soongap's mom tells him to always stay by soongap's side... in the end he couldn't :'')
every scene where we get to see pilgyeon as a kid tugs at my heartstrings and i just want someone to give him a hug. he made too many awful choices to deserve a redemption arch, but i would have loved if the story had been a little different and maybe he could have found someone of his own, keep soongap as a friend and brother and not been so lonely. but the story needed an antagonist & a threat so i understand why the author chose to do it this way. this webtoon is still a masterpiece anyway.

After what he did at the end, he's dead for me. He doesn't do anything for soongap, he's only ever thought about himself and what he wants. He doesn't honor the memory of soongap's mother either. He's just the worst.

i feel like people would not be saying the seme is a shota if this was a story where the roles were reversed and he was the uke. people eat that shit up AAALL the time, where there's a big height difference and the uke is tiny and cute. idk what even makes this guy look like a shota in your eyes - if you look at the panels where he's standing next to the dragon guy (in human form) he's barely even a head shorter than him. so he's skinny and shorter, that makes him a shota?

Probably because other uploaders actually respect the real creators by atleast waiting a week after the official release. And maybe because they dont other picking up the one that they are already translating since it takes time and effort to translate? I dont know but yeah let’s just understand them
I think this is pretty accurate. I also think that maybe the audience for these sites has also gotten a lot younger (I’m talking middle school even) and they may not get or even try to understand that there is a code of conduct between uploaders and translators. Just my two cents

this was literally so fucking adorable and sweet i have zero complaints. the art was so lovely, the sex scenes were and i love it when there's no unneccessary drama. like they're just off being cute together!!
also i feel like the author handled this subject very well, usually when they write about someone from another culture or country it's super exaggerared. i hope to see more from this author in the future !!
why are the only reasonable characters the side characters, like that old servant and the kisaeng noona... both nakyum and seungho (especially seungho) needs to come to their senses.
this is just... sublime. the plot is engaging, the characters fun to read about -- i love cute dumb muscley ukes and semes who are whipped & hello this seme is so attractive??? damn. and then the art is just straight up gorgeous like wtf my eyes have been blessed. the author is also really good at sex scenes... like honestly this was just such a treat to read.
i'm grateful this story is back but what the hell happened to the artstyle? or more specifically, the coloring and shading... i went back and looked and before they didn't even have any lip color, now they suddenly have the glossiest red lips ever. ummmm... sometimes less is more.
