Gender bender does NOT mean changing a character's sexuality (sexual orientation). Don't get it twisted - I've read plenty of gender bender stories where a girl dresses as a boy or a boy dresses as a girl (like in Lady Crystal), and they're still heterosexual. None of them start with 'I reincarnated in a BL story' - that already makes it clear it's not a gender bender, but rather a change in the characters' sexual orientation, which implies homophobia. The concept is that now that there's a woman, the gay characters will fall in love with her. Do you get it?

Actually gender bender and adding romance, without them stating its a yaoi bl would mean it's a straight romance to begin with. The second point is with out the authors intervention would the character be gay? Bi? Or straight? In fact what the story implies is that the mc fell in love with a person purely for themselves and not their gender which actually makes the story even more lovely and less cringe which is the fun of gender bender to begin with. And as this is story, about a character entering another story it still stands that there is nothing inherently wrong with it nor is anyones sexuality actually haphazardly twisted. Ur assumption and mental gymnastics to make this homophobic because a woman become the predetermiend gays characters lover implies that you assume the writer is homophobic while on the other hand it explores the idea that the male character didn't fall in love because of how someone looked but for how they treated him and even still the fmc only inserts herself to live and not out of crush or obsession and wants the ml to find happiness. So ur entire thought process feels like a stretch and bend to feel some type of way just because the setting is a bl isekai and not a straight one. Also let's not pretend that women don't read bl and wish they, could be partners with the top or bottom. So why wouldn't someone eventually write a story about a woman entering a bl and capturing the heart of one of them its the obvious progression of story isekai to eventually have a woman fall into such a universe similar to a man falling into a story and bending the straight character would u say that's weird, or the ones where a woman falls into a universe and it turns into yuri... like this is a slippery slope you're okay when a straigt character is bent but not when their straightened? Its a weird. Because arguments like yours are twisted by other ppl in just the way I did it so that books like this are banned. Understand? Is it clicking? I won’t say it was easy, but I wiped my ass with this story. I think it’s one of the worst I’ve ever read. It feels like the schizophrenic ideas of a teenager with access to Wattpad — first a doctor, then a hacker, then a weapons expert, then into drugs. It makes no sense; they overload the plot and in the end it turns into garbage. Definitely a waste of time, and the worst part is that all Chinese stories are like this, the same plot ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Yeah I just read Chinese manhuas when I want to turn my brain off and see revenge stories back to back lol. It’s better if you read them without thinking too hard about it. I just find it funny whenever the mc has like 15 different professions lol. I remember reading one where the mc can do literally anything yet she becomes like a doctor as her main profession at the end of the story, yet not once did she show herself to have any medical knowledge in the main story so it was funny as fuck lol
Geeez, it's not a biography. People read stories like these for entertainment. Like a little escape from reality. All that matters is if it's good or boring. It's definitely good and entertaining. I think it's cool how she is such a genius!
