Seriously, if I start listing every single manga/manhua that paints rape in a romantic way I'll stay here for months. The idea of "I love you so I'll rape you. No matter how much you beg and cry in pain I won't stop cos this is how I show my love" is so disgusting that I immedietly drop the manga with a bitter taste in my mouth and a foul mood for the rest of the day. What is more concerning is the fact that there are people who love this shit and call it "Hot and sexy" supported with the arguement "It's just fantasy don't let it bother you" rape happens everywhere in the world and all the time. It's not fantasy. It's not sexy. Imagine being someone who got raped and when you start reading a book or a manga you see rape being portrayed as cute with the victim bring drawn in cute and sexy poses as they get assaulted by some perverted rapist. Ughhh.. this just bothers and angers me so much and I'm wondering are there people here who also feel the same and wish for this "trend" to just end. I read yaoi to escape reality into a world with no hatred where two men can fall in love I don't care what their kinks and fetishes are, as long as it is consentual, no one gets harmed and done with pure love and care.
