Agreed, definitely sounds like love bombing. Listen if you're not feeling it there's no point in continuing it, people come and go and the real ones make you genuinely happy and stick by that is ofc if you treat them the same.
Now in this situation I think rather than breaking it off out of nowhere you need to communicate and tell him clearly that you're uncomfortable with the speed the relationship is progressing with, unless you don't tell him, he won't know. Although I do agree that his actions are indeed weird communication is important too. If you let him do things, he will, if you state you're uncomfortable and he still does such things then it easily confirms that he doesn't respect your opinion/choices and its best to leave him.
