I want to introduce my friend into the beautiful fujoshi world. She has been reluctant up until now but what I keep telling her has finally intrigued her but she said she wants to read something mild. And of course I don't want to give her a heart attack by getting her into hardcore yaoi on the first attempt. So if you could give me suggestions for what would be best in such situations,I'd be greatful

She wants something mild then tell her to pick "Shounen-ai"

Actully what makes me start loving BL is Crimson Spell. (≧∀≦)
I would recommend something with clear consent. There is a lot of rape in this genre that we get used to after a while but is off putting for newbies I think. That way she can get a taste of yaoi but without any of the creepy stuff. Here's my list of rape free yaoi:

okay so there was this manhwa. It had a kpop idol group(boy band). One of those guys was the male mc.There was this girl and somehow she ends up with a chibi version of that mc guy.Like,he just shrinks in rain and then she finds him and takes to her home and then she stictches up clothes for him(?) i think. He's quite arrogant as expected of a shoujo mc.I don't really remember much about it.but somewhere along these lines,if you find a manga, please hit me up :)
Okay.So I'm on the 22nd volume and there still hasn't been ANY progress with their love life and I'm on the verge of hitting my laptop screen trying to make them confess to each other. Please tell me they'll let each other know their feelings soon?
It is shounen ai, but it's different to other shounen ai mangas that their "confessions" are not that subtle, I mean you know it's more than brotherhood between them so I guess that makes up for it?
Yeah I feel the same way. I like that their relationship is subtle, but overall this manga isn't my favorite. It has too many scenes that seem like they don't really serve a purpose in advancing the plot, so I'm left sitting here with a feeling like I just watched someone do household chores for 12 hours.
