I got so excited update when?

This is great and all, but I’m curious. What happened to the Bill guy in chapter 2? Does he ever make a comeback or was he a one time character?

Everyone in this is so messed up, I love it. Evil people that are genuinely evil, the entire family needs to go. Dion is hot but I have morals, I will NOT slip this easily. But that long hair sure is making it hard.

Everytime I see his chest, I have to pause for a while.

Ch 20 and I just wanna know if the abuse goes unpunished? Are they just gonna ignore it cause they like her now that they find her useful? If so this ain’t for me.

I raised Cinderella “preciously”

Mildred definitely does, however I can’t say the same for lily and iris (her other daughters). As a reader although it’s subtle, I can see her bias for Ashley. She has this very weird obsession with marrying Ashley to the prince, it’s very weird as she has no reason to be so hellbent on it. Yes this is a Cinderella story, but it’s not happening give it up. She’s not their actual mother and you can tell through her monologues. It just feels off. Most of the time when she thinks of iris and lily it’s about how “ugly” they are and how it’s gonna be tough to get them married, ( although she only explicitly says their ugly once, it’s obvious what she means) then next episode she’s reminiscing about them as children through mildreds memories. It comes off as fake.
What really helped form my feelings for mc as a mother would be the most recent eps where iris starts crying and getting upset because mc (Mildred) treats Ashley better than her even though she’s her actual daughter. And she hits iris with the “but Ashley’s so unfortunate. She lost her mother and father, how could you. Do you blame me for marrying her dad? Is that what you think, is it my fault we’re in this situation? If not then get used to it.” Yikes. Yes, Ashley’s unfortunate but iris and lily aren’t fortunate either. To me it feels like she treats iris and lily civil and is more of a mother to Ashley.

On a less serious note Mildred reminds me of the mother in promised neverland and it’s off putting.

This used to be my favourite manga ever and I was obsessed, life caught up and I took a break from reading it for like two years and now I’m catching up and honestly I’m disappointed, I feel like it all went down hill after they went back to the palace and I don’t think I’ll continue. I can never like soowon, I can’t, and I don’t like how much power he suddenly had over all of them when they went to the palace, they all become so helpless but if they really wanted out they could have, their not being firm enough and that’s why they are getting used like that. Just got to the part when yona finds out his ill and I think that’s enough.
What I loved about this was the bond between yona yoon, hak and the dragons and their adventures around the country, I loved how I got serious at times and how much fun they had with each other. Now that that’s gone I have no reason to continue and it seems that even in the latest ep their still in the palace. And yonas character has been annoying me recently and I used to love her.
