The uses family lives in a mansion because his whole family lives there, he moved out and got his own job and apartment because he wanted to be independent. We also don't really know alot about the semes backstory so we shouldn't be quick to judge.

i thought of the same thing as well but the uke's mom is very caring and affectionate, i don't think they would let him live on his own without giving any kind of support and plus since his family is loaded, he probably got a good education so it doesn't add up in any way.

what i really like about this manga is that their relationship is so realistic, they didn't start dating being fully in love, they both decided to give it a try and the relationship started to get better, they learned their lessons and became their better selves.
