Actually, the baby in Rashta's womb was indeed Sovieshu's. It was Navier who were infertile, BUT she was unconsciously healed. The bed she were sleeping in the Western Kingdom had some healing powers. (Heinly was talking about it). Since she was using that magical induced bed, her infertile was slowly healed and she was able to conceive Heinly's child. Sovieshu didn't know this. And he was sure that one of them (Sovieshu and Navier) is infertile because they ate a cookie induced with a drug that makes a person infertile. (sovieshu's mother made it for his father's mistress, and the dumb sovieshu stole it and gave it to Navier so they can eat together). So when he heard the news that Navier was pregnant, he thought he was the one who's infertile (he was depressed abt it yall) and question if he's truly the father of Rashta's baby (by this time the baby was already born and Rashta was in prison for endangering her own baby's life. Coz she dropped it). The baby looks so much like Rashta, none of the baby's feature resembled Sovieshu so he immediately assumed that he was not the father's baby. Later in the novel, the baby princess was banished out of the empire (I'm not sure since i don't quite remember but i think duke Ergi helped the baby princess get out of the capital safely). AND THEN, dun dun dun dun *drumrolls*, when the baby was so faaaar away from the capital, Duke Ergi left a note to Sovieshu that he is actually the father of the baby. (there was a scene before the banishment of the princess, that they go to a temple and performed a ritual to determine who is the parent of the baby. Rashta was indeed the mother obv. But on the ritual it said that Sovieshu was not the father, it was Allen [ya know, the guy Rashta first fell inlove with, the father of her first child] BUUUT unknown to everybody, this ritual was fraud to make it seem that Sovieshu was not the father of the baby).
Now listen, this is only my conclusion. The Western Kingdom want to drive the Eastern Kingdom to ruins. And they used the opportunity of Rashta's presence to bring it to fruition. It was always always told in the story that Duke Ergi and King Heinly are close friends. And they were numerous scenes that proved it (ex. It was Duke Ergi that helped Heinly and Navier get out of the Eastern Empire when Sovieshu locked them up [this was right after the divorce, Navier asked for permission for remarriage and it was granted by the priest. Sovieshu, angry that Navier was going to remarry, locked them up and refused to let them go unless Navier take back what she declared]). Duke Ergi being super close to Rashta was part of a bigger plan (isn't it weird that Duke Ergi leeched of Rashta after he defended her one time? And it was Duke Ergi who was always suggesting things to Rashta. Like for example, this fake noble parents [there were many other scenes later where Duke Ergi influenced Rashta's desicion. Like wearing an overly glamorous dress on the day of the divorce as if it was a day to be celebrated]. Rashta wasn't a good person, yes. She's like a rose full of thorns. But it was clear as the day that she truly trust Duke Ergi with all her heart (later when everything was slowly spiraling down for her, she was actually thinking that Duke Ergi was more trustworthy than her lover, Sovieshu). And almost all of her actions and big desicions was influenced by Duke Ergi that it was clearly suspicious. This is only my conclusion of what happened.
Oh and also, yes Rashta will die.
AND, Sovieshu will have an amnesia. By day, his memories were 3years back, and by night he'll be the same Sovieshu in the present. And he realized how inlove he is to Navier, he actually put up a life size painting of Navier in his room. In this painting Navier was sitting and Sovieshu was laying on her lap. He asked a painter to change her eyes in the painting so it will look like she is staring lovingly at him.
This took longer than expected but i hope i helped clear out some confusion.

Well her being in prison opens opportunity for the people to show her stack of sins. Her name was dragged to the mud. 1st for fooling the emperor, and conceiving another mans child, 2nd for endangering a royal (the baby was still considered a princess) and 3rd for using the Deposed Empress' personal money for personal gain (she found a note in Navier's room that says, her money should be donated on the charities under the name of the imperial family. But Rashta, signed her name on this money, and bragged to the people that she is a benevolent Empress. An Empress for the Commoners. Later, when her shemes were slowly revealed, it was then known that the money she used for the charities that she boasted for was not her own but the Deposed Empress. She's a thief and a liar.) and she's also slowly losing her mind (literally).
She died a miserable death. She poisoned herself (she cannot be executed because she's still a royal and an Empress. It will drag the prestige of the Royal family. So in each meal served to her, a poison was always beside it. Implicitly saying that she should take her own life to pay for her countless sins). She slowly died while whispering Sovieshu's name saying that she's so scared and begging for him tl come save her. Her body was found a week later when a soldier guarding took notice of the stench coming from her prison.
AAAAND, as for the baby. Well I'm kinda sad for her. When Sovieshu realized that he was her father, it was already too late. He sent knights to chase her carriage but when they reached the border and saw the princess' broken carriage, they realized that the carriage was attacked by the bandits. The coachman was found dead, the carriage is broken, the luggages are gone, and the princess and her nanny was nowhere to be found (correct me if I'm wrong but i think the body of the dead nanny was also found around the area later). It was unkown what happened to the Princess. The novel was still ongoing and up to the latest raws, the princess was still not found and was already considered dead. Plus, Sovieshu cannot really focus on finding her since his suffering from partial amnesia and was pursuing Navier (he went to the Western Empire to meet Navier and ask for some answers i guess at to why they divorced, since his memory was of 3years back.)
That's where i left of. The Eastern Empire was now in utter chaos, while the Western Empire celebrates the incoming Royal Baby.
