So when she says she's pregnant he didn't know that she was just poisoned or whatever. And I understand her point of view because she doesn't know that and the doctor told her.
But she doesn't know that fact about Winter What he needs is to come clean and tell her the exact reason as to why they can't, instead off just pushing it aside with a "i don't want kids", then turn around to appease her by saying "if you were to get pregnant accidentally, then you can keep it". She kept asking him why, why, why and he has refused to answer. For this i cannot see his side.
