What if there was a misunderstanding on professor rudiger as moriarty. Mostly on Renei's mother. A matter of POV, maybe? Maybe someone else killed her or an accident and professor just happened to be there and that senpai just had the sense of timing. And the hidden memories of renei must be the work of her mother. Because why would professor rudiger would save renei and seems melancholic when he first met her and even gave her the book which i think belongs to her mother.
