Yes
The creator died because of an allergic reaction after taking some medicine. However the Series is going to continue because two other people were working with him on the series and pretty much got most of the story already written down.
The manga is pretty much only for the clearification of the 4 trailers for the series, but perhaps it's going to go beyond that.
also, volume 4 is coming out on october 22 (i'm talking about the animation)
