Probably Dan quit cause he’s a softie and he’d probably be beating himself up for Jaekyung losing even though he doesn’t have anything to do with it.
I think he’ll be back to his old jobs and maybe his grandma will really die to drive the plot and will reconsider working with the other gym later on.
