I was worried that Ido would just bulldoze over Sejins feelings saying something like “they’re horrible people just get over it.”- like most of the earlier comments were saying but I’m glad he isn’t.
Sejin is in a precarious position where he knows one thing about his family (that they’re horrible) but his emotions are still hurting him. He obviously loves them and can’t give them up without being conflicted. Which is why I appreciate how Ido is at least to some extent acknowledging it. I still feel like he could be a little softer about it but that’s just me wanting Sejin to have hugs. I feel like Sejin will crumble any second;-; like there’s only a threat holding him to sanity.
I was hoping there’d be SO SORT of character development but nah, nothing.
The ML is such an asshole. He almost r*ped MC twice, TWICE and than acting like not doing it was a kind act on his part. “I’m so patient to put up with MC”- ML. WTH?! Even if MC does like ML, MC CLEARLY SAID NO, STOP, PLEASE, let’s talk this out. And he kept pushing it. Not to mention knowing MC likes him, not telling MC he likes him back and DATING SO MANY GIRLS! Than he wonders why MC hasn’t confessed? He acts like MC is a possession rather than a person. It makes me absolutely sick.
The way I’ve been waiting for a second ML all this time because I can’t with this ML. The first blonde dude seemed 100x better!
I don’t think so they both wanted it but it didn’t go any where they just jerked each other off.
I get that to an extent but MC was clearly uncomfortable with it. He may have wanted to do it eventually but not in that moment when both haven’t reciprocated feelings. MC isn’t the type of person who does it with someone who doesn’t like him back. MC keeps running away which indicates he DOESNT want to yet and if ML goes against that’s just SA.
I understand where everyone is coming from calling MC dumb but please understand that he’s literally been manipulated into it. He’s in a constant state of unease and stress and doesn’t have the time to actually think it through rationally. Not to mention that he grew up in an abusive environment that taught him it’s better to suck it up and be quiet than speak up. His only pillars of hope he had all suddenly turned on him and the places he would usually go to get some sort of consolation has been destroyed. He has no where to go or to rely on. Plus, it’s not like he’s NOT trying to get out of this situation either. He’s weighing all his options and money is obviously a HUGE constant. People can’t just get up and leave just like that.
Idk if you’ve ever been in a situation anywhere close to what he is but I have (to a small extent in comparison) and the way your mind works in these types of situations are completely different. You’re stuck, you can’t move, you feel like you’re frozen and the only way to get out of that state is to silently agree. It’s fucking terrifying. I consider myself VERY confident and outspoken but in this situation I was frozen. I can’t explain it to the degree I’m trying to stress-it’s just bad and can’t be easily rationalized.
Finally someone who has a brain

Exactly. People like them are the reasons why REAL people in these situations aren’t treated seriously and why suicide the option they turn to. It shouldn’t come to that.
ML is such a breathe of fresh air from the average MLs of any romance. I can’t even think of a greener flag at this point. He’s literally SO patient and kind. He tries his best to understand her and not sweep her worries or traumas under the rug. Moreover, he communicates SOOO well and doesn’t let go of the little things. Omg I adore him smmmmm!
I understand where she comes from but personally I don’t think I’d have the patience for her. It just shows how much of a good guy he is. I hope happiness for them both asap
I mean I get why J.J. broke things off. Leo was treating him more like a personal assistant than a BF but at the same time it doesn’t seem like J.J. ever communicated his thoughts. Not to excuse Loes behavior but the two obviously are used to being treated different ways. Leo’s is the baby in his family and as such he is used to getting “babied.” If J.J. didn’t want to be in a role like that in their relationship-he should have communicated that.
Leo actually loved J.J. You could see it written all over his face and by the way he search’s for J.J. first when he’s happy. As far as I could tell, it didn’t seem like Leo ever walked all over J.J. or anything..
I’m actually surprised to see not see Leo depressed with how everyone is treating him this breakup as only his fault. Idk if Leo is just making himself the victim or if he genuinely thinks so but whenever they talk about the breakup Leo mentions that it’s “my fault.” I personally think that he DOES believe it’s his own fault when I don’t believe that’s the whole case (as mentioned earlier). Idk, these are just my thoughts.

i have to agree with that, obviously we weren’t given the entire back story of their relationship but i strongly believe that it’s likely their relationship didn’t worsen *just* because of leo
I’m not trying to hate because I genuinely like this story but there are a few things that annoy me.
FL annoys me because she has such a silly mindset “I don’t want to worry Luke” but then literally goes into enemy territory of her OWN choice. Girl set up her own kidnapping. LIKE GIRL YOU GOT POISONED-what makes you think you’ll be safe?
Also, on a side note, why would they hold balls and teas parties during an epidemic? Y'all just spreading it more and celebrating during this horrible time.
Moreover, although I like the ML he is giving red flag with doing that second dance and covering it up with “I’ll dance with you the second time the next ball.” Like okay but you didn’t answer why you did it in the first place? That’s like a girl catching her BF going out to eat somewhere with another girl and he tells her that he’ll take her to the same place next time. DIDNT SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
This is breaking my heart. Ethan has literally done so much for her. Instead of becoming the next emperor with all the power in the world after she died, he chose to go back in time. He dedicated his life to her before and now again in this life. He suffered the abuse of his childhood again a for her. He found the light stone for her. He literally tired his best to understand her and bring her happiness. He shows so much pain on his face whenever she’s sad.
The fact that she’s doubting his love for her after everything he has done is insane.
Not to mention Theon is giving off her dad vibes (I only care now that she’s useful). Literally the thing she hates most she wants to help.
Did this just have a time skip without them clearing up the misunderstanding on Crystals side? If so, I feel like this is so unfair and deceptive to Crystal.
I just know this is going to hurt him a lot in the future when they finally clear things out. I also think it would also be so much healthier for him and lift a lot of stress about hiding his identity. The sooner the better and putting it off is just cruel to him.

At this point, everyone knows Crystal is a man, but Crystal doesn't know they know. No one is going to say anything until Crystal outs himself. No one really cares but Damian. They all just like Crystal and like that there's a relationship forming with the Duke.
