It’s sad but I really appreciate how well the author is portraying the many different ways people deal with abuse and overcome it. For Yeonwo, it’s to spiral into depression and become over emotional . For his best friend, (I forgot his name), it’s to become over protective. For Haesol it’s to forget and detach from emotions. For Haesoo, it’s to become extremely friendly and detach himself from the trauma all together.
It’s really sad to see all the characters go through this but we also see them heal and overcome it. Beautifully written.
