If I was in that situation, I too would be fucking desperate to go back in my original world despite going through such lengths for the sake of not only returning but surviving as well. Also, I screamed when the portal to their original world didn't open because they failed to kill the ml and the hope in their eyes instantly vanished.
So I kinda chuckled that this was on the top comedy section a while ago...
