Why is the author putting so much rape into the story. First it was Mayathan and now duke's mother. Just ehhh..

The author really wants us to also just forget about it. If they want us to forget about why the wrote it in the first place when it brought NOTHING to the plot. The author doesn't event want to even admit that it was a assault (or even possibly rape) and just write that he touched him ...bro i can touch my friend hand while they're sleeping and say it the neclxt day and they would have similar reactions to Mayathan... But it's wasn't just "touch" but a assault. Author eants us to forgive and forget it as easily as Mayathan did. The author really can't write well
