Maya isn't against their relations as gay. She doesnt know of their feelings, she just judged Taichi and his friend as worthless. In Japanese you dont make the difference between him and her, and i think the traduction messed up, when she was thinking "are you interested by -him-" after the mixer. Pay more attention to the story, we already got one Maya, no need two.
