This is so silly and cute, honestly a good story to wind down to so far, she is a devote fan and tbh you gotta respect her for it, don’t y’all act like you wouldn’t be fan-girling hard if you ended up in a story with your absolute favorite character she’s here to protecc her bias that’s all that matters
I’m dead, poor hajin I’ve been there no one gets the dark dry humor but at work today I said something and one of coworkers started laughing being like I love how deadpan dry your humor is FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS THAT I AM LITERALLY NEVER BEING SERIOUS, It’s a double edged knife tho bc I can never tell myself if someone else is joking or not I just assume everything everyone says is a joke because everything I say is lmfao someone will tell me something in the most serious tone ever and most dire face and I will sit there and laugh I straight up can’t tell no way anything is ever that serious unless it involves death and dying, or perhaps prison but even that’s kinda funny lol like if I’m not gonna die and your not gonna die then it will simply never be that serious.
I’m really enjoying this, the only thing I’m utterly lost on is when they brought up the miasma theory in regards to the cholera outbreak. I know “bad air” is what they assumed the cause was but considering they have a concept of hygiene and hygienics then I’d assume they have a concept of germ theory no? And the germ theory replaced miasma so I’m just confused as to why such a theory still existed along with the germ theory? It just doesn’t really make sense, I get that she needed something to combat but the two just don’t coexist together one proves the other wrong. I mean the only reason they’d consider proper hygiene and cleanliness is strictly because of the germ theory so obviously such a thing has been established so idk why they’d still consider “bad air” as the cause for anything at all. Lol it’s just a bit historically and medically inaccurate and it bugged me but it’s fictitious anyway I just hope it’s explained more how they have a concept of hygiene but no concept of germs?
