since the novel isn't translated and the only way to read the story for us who can't understand chinese is the manhua, I'm curious if there's a big difference in the story compared to the novel.
Like Mo Da Zu Shi which greatly deviates the story of the manhua and the novel.
Like is there's some part of the story that we non-chinese readers are missing with respect to the currently released chapters of the manhua.
I know that it is one of the consequence of having a novel adapted into another medium that some parts are missing.
But I really want to know if we are missing something
So far it’s adapting it pretty faithfully according to the timeline since the story is pretty linear...
I’m not sure if the manhua will deviate from the novel but as far as I can see, I doubt so... so prepare your heart :D

If the seme you're talking about is the one who cheated on Zhi shu then yes. I don't quite remember what he said at the end of the story but to sum it up, he would try to live out for another 4 years to make up for those 4 years Zhi shu had to suffer alone fighting with his illness.

Yeah the other seme is the doctor. In fact, he was the one who stood beside Zhi shu until the end even though Zhi Shu didn't love him. Zhi Shu (uke) and the doctor did it so yes they had a sexual relationship, but it was the first but also the last for the both of them. Since Zhi Shu couldn't fall in love with him plus his illness kept getting worse so he couldn't do anything fo the doctor in return, so Zhi Shu suggested having sex with the doctor as a repayment. Of course, that broke the doctor's heart and so they didn't do it. The second time happened quite naturally. I don't really remember the details but it was sort of like they needed each other's warmth so they just kinda did it :'> Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the doctor fell in love with Zhi Shu but Zhi Shu couldn't forget his ex so... :'>
