People make rape victims seem like they are the one's a fault and hurt them even more, when all they really need during that time is support and comfort. It breaks my heart to know that people don't always receive this and instead commit suicide or resort to other dangerous methods of coping. And what's worse is people don't take male rape victims seriously just because they are males.
