So I couldn't wait and bought the last volume that came out. I dont read japanese but I tried to understand what is happening to the best of my ability.
Ok so...Niki takes the position of the protector/overseer and everybody else goes back to their world. News that Nike is gone spreads around and all the old characters that Nike helped comes to help livius bring her back. (Livius brother as well since he performs a heel face turn)
The little boy that Nike's sister found in the waterfall is a key factor I think. If I understood it correctly then they were looking for a way for that him and Nike to swap places.
They finally did with those mechanisms but it took a while for Nike to come back. So six years later, Livius(now 18), is standing in the field outside the castle when Nike appears behind him(still looks the same - probably didn't age in the other dimension so she is biologically 17/18 but chronologically 23/24) They have a tearful hugging reunion and it ends there.
Also, Kara, Nike's sister, got with Bardwin, livius uncle, and they have 2 children.
