The first chapter itself was very telling that the plot would be intricate but damn the symbolisms still caught me off guard, because I read a lot of this kind of trope but few had this kind of elegance when it come to the story telling.
ikr this story is a gem, the way the artist handles the plot is masterful, the twists and turns have the right timing ,and even the humor is not awkward-heartwarming even, suitable for this kind of story which has a large focus on family relationships
tho I feel kinda sad that my ship ain't happening
This story is making me use the full capacity of my brain and I love it !!! The art and the plot are top notch. Also, sigh misunderstandings really cause a shit ton of problems, if only they communicated better in her first life then all these pain and hurt could have been avoided. I'm just glad she got a second chance and this time, she's happy. She's such a selfless character, ugh I want her to have a happy life! She deserves at least that much for all the trouble life gave her!
On the other hand, I don't have a good opinion about her dead husband. I can't believe he placed such heavy burdens on a child! A mother of 4, when she's only 16 yrs old!? On top of dealing with a society steeped in politics and lies. She's so strong, to carry that weight for so long and not a word of thanks from the people she sacrificed so much for. I'm the one breaking down from the pressure and I'm just the reader...I'm hoping desperately for your happy ending Shuli
Also, there's definitely more plot at play here with why she reincarnated. That blonde woman at her back, could it be her when she didn't have any memories of a past life? Ugh I'm so curious, I love the story so much
PS. I'm team Lucas btw, I mean look at how concerned he is when she's on the verge of crying. The way he'd rather use the branch for her father than for what he intended it for (although it seems like it's for her as well
The art style, plot and pacing is all beautiful. This story actually makes my heart race and the characters are all interesting as well. A lot of times, the mc is kind of irritating and not really well-developed but Athy actually has a history and reason why she ended up in the novel. I'm not quite sure what it is but it's been foreshadowed a couple of times that she could actually have lived this life already. Also, it seems like this isn't just her second life because I remember Lucas saying that the first one was unfortunate and there's a rope shown, while the next was deliberate showing pills. I'm excited to know her history, she's such a great character I like her so much! Mind you, I'm usually pretty much irritated with most of the MC's of other stories with the same trope. Anyway, I really hope Claude gets well soon and remember the princess.

As much as I want Athy to just be single forever and spend all her time with her beloved dad, if I were to choose who she may end up with then I would like it to be Lucas. I don't know why but he wormed his way into my heart and charmed me. I often don't like the tsundere type characters (although he's not really that much of it) because they get annoying but he's really sweet and he cares about Athy to the point that he's willing to do a lot of things just for a mere kiss on the cheek. Hahaha he's so whipped and adorable, the age gap is highly concerning though but I hope the fact that Athy's not actually fifteen can ease my mind a bit. He's still hundreds more years older though...sigh I hope it all works out, I'm rooting for them!
I came here for a good time expecting fluff and wholesome interactions but instead I'm heartbroken and crying every chapter... My heart literally ached cuz I felt so bad for the twins ugh ༼;´༎ ༎༽ my nose is so runny noooo
Must be the pollen allergies striking again
