Yes the uke need to suffer for what he has done to the seme i agree, but for being soft to his personality is not hypocritical. Let’s say if the seme is the asshole but we know his thoughts, his perspectives. If there at least a chance of regretting going through his mind, people would still support him for at least trying whether he is a top or a bottom. It is not a matter of just a ‘manly bottom’ because he is rare. People just like a character who makes an effort to repent for their mistake.
(That is why manhwa like ks/kiss me liar have a huge support)

For the ‘doesn’t care abt others than seme’ is, an asshole will still be an asshole. Just because he fall in love doesn’t mean he will get that 180 change. And the previous comment i said that people wont hate him just yet because we know his thoughts. Here people want to see if the ‘love’ feelings will change him in the future with others people too. Same feeling i have when i read the end s2 potn to see of he really changed or not doesn’t matter if he’s with nakyum or other people.

People do bashing the uke too here, and on potn, legs wont walk there’s supporters for the seme too. For potn, people bashing them because one- it already 70 chapter but the chara development is slow, two- we dont know yet what seungho’s thoughts are. If those two is revealed, people will support seungho too (i only take potn as example because it’s a popular manhwa) Hence i said it’s not hypocritical.

People who like to read toxic stories like this (like me) just want to see if the character development is worth or not. I never stated that I think he didn’t deserve to suffer I understand what he did was messed up I just don’t like how some people just don’t understand his side of the story, what he did was super wrong though and it hurt me a lot when yoon called himself a nobody anyway Jaehan thinks that when people annoy him or get in his way he should do what he wants to them get rid “we kill ants who enter our space because they are annoying. To me that’s what people are.” that’s why he acted in the cruel ways he did towards yoon to make himself feel better in a way because he felt unpleasant but he realized later that it just got worse so he was just slowly understanding an all and he realized that he didn’t want to hurt yoon anymore or him to get hurt at all, then he started developing some feelings for him but he didn’t understand them well. he didn’t want what he had to get ruined so he didn’t want to tell him what he did to yoon years ago. Jaehan also clearly has a hard time expressing how he feels, he thinks he shouldn’t care for others and how they feel explaining why he says this “we kill ants who enter our space because they are annoying. To me that’s what people are.”

U say he ruined yoon's life to make himself feel better ,this line itself explains how much of a fucking stinky asshole Jehan is who would readily ruin anyone's life just for HIS fun ,and also u said that he realised what he did to yoon in past and NOW he doesn't want to hurt him , isn't it cause NOW he has feeling for him and that's why he doesn't want yoon to hate him ,let's be honest we all know it's not Jehan is trying to protect yoon ,all he is trying to protect is HIS FEELINGS,he knows if he'll hurt yoon then there's no way he'll be able to keep him by his side anymore ,that's how selfish he is !

Also his monologue about how he wants to rid of ppl like they r ants who entered his territory - his this thought is the prime example of how he has become under the influence of excess money and power ,he thinks just cause he has the power and authority to fuck someone's life and get away with it then why not ? Cause he holds the control and position,so if he wants he can do anything that he likes even if it's highly wrong ,what would having ruined normal person's matter to him? And HIS this attitude DISGUSTS ME TO CORE , he's just fucking taking advantage of his means and power, besides this he is just like a shell of a man wandering with out any purpose,seeking out pleasure by hurting other ppl who r working their ass off to survive in this world
And THAT'S why I'd never sympathise with Jehan, never ever.

Nah don't bother to use another example,look I ain't hating on how well the character was written,if author wanted to portray Jehan as self-centred asshole then they really did a good job,I appreciate how well Jehan as a character is written but if I talk about the personality of jehan's character then yeah HE IS SHIT ,I ain't shitting on him, if he literally acts like stinky shit and I point it out then it's not like I m not trying to understand him or anthing,he really needs to reflect on his fucked up action but I bet he's going to continue being like this till the end cause he too spoilt to reflect on his actions atm ,I know his redemption arc will be maybe apologizing to seme but he ain't going to Apologise to all those other ppl he had hurt before neither he is going to stop hurting ppl other than seme ,we all know this very well ,he is a rich bastard ,he himself knows that too ,so even if he changes for one person and continues to be a fucking trash to other ppl then he's never going to redeem himself
