It is actually not the ML’s fault that he is doubting mc, the story & his character is bound to follow the original storyline set by the writer, currently he is completely under the control of writer & as our mc surpasses certain hurdle set by the author, the ML will be completely free from her control & act on his own.. despite being completely under control killeon still thinks on his own but whenever he does he has those splitting headaches.. as for Ronan he is neutral & can think & act on his own because he is an extra in the novel whose faith wasn’t decided by the author… that’s the reason ronan is good & killeon is behaving like an assh**le (︶︿︶)＝凸
