As much as I love the mc she's kind of bland for my tastes. Even though she only seems to be this standard noble woman personality she's responsible and defended the social standings of Hartknight (and tries to redeem his asshole actions). Still while she isn't as interesting as I would like it's probably the number of similar stories I've been reading that's weighing on me. Akari still ends up getting on my nerves, litterally ending up costing Hartknight the THRONE. Along with that she's so caught up with capturing Prince Aqua that she ends up neglecting the one she's already won the heart of (Hartknight). Not saying he doesn't deserve it after making his own bed to lie in but Akari minipulative actions make me sympathize. He doesn't really have anyone to blame but himself but Akari doesn't even question the effects of her actions. She just goes on ruining lives of people just because she's the main heroine. Either way I hope she gets punishment or something on par with that to teach her a valuable lesson.
I really just want to know what Bertia is trying to avoid in the long run. She's so adamant about avoiding this "bad end" and I just want to know how bad it is. As much as I dislike her for her assumptions if the "bad end" puts the people she cares about at risk imma be big sad.
Based on the last sentence that the heroine uttered, I think it's just about giving the prince emotions(which he already has but Tia is too oblivious to realize that) so that he will be happy in the end and not be emotionless, waiting for death. But the thing about gunpowder confused me so maybe there's still something left unsaid?
