RIMMISH created a topic of Oshi no Ko

being a former kpop stan and a big fan of these kinds of media like idols, reality shows, mangas, etc., they really point out a lot of the problems in the entertainment industry. they have also connected a lot of psychological experiences that happens behind the industry.

this manga also did a very good job of portraying these types of characters in the industry. hard achiever, obsessive fan, overworked managers, unreliable staff and capitalist companies, very common in the industry. you can’t blame them for being that since that is what the industry is promoting and these ideas goes in the back of our heads unnoticed. that’s why the characters are unlikeable since it’s very realistic except for the supernatural aspect of it. real people really suck ass.

i hope everyone gets the message behind this manga and they deserve every support they get behind this. i don’t see it fucking up anytime soon. this manga would be an interesting story to have a review with.

am i the only one who’s second doubting their relationship?? idk shizu is just not honest w hiiragi and i want more words of affirmation PLS MAKE IT WORK AND CLEAR UP ANY MISUNDERSTANDING IT MAKES MY BLOOD BOILLL

RIMMISH created a topic of Skip to Loafer

i really love how they portrayed the auntie’s experience like it’s really comforting to have that kind of representation esp in a slice of life manga!! there were also some gnc representation in the clothing they were and they just presented it vv well

RIMMISH created a topic of She likes Homos, Not me

it was a good manga. except for the incest, pedophilia, grooming, fujoshi, mlm fetishization, and there’s just so many things wrong w it

i liked cuz the main character’s pov was relatable in a sense like internal issues when you’re discovering your sexuality. i cried cuz they portrayed it very well but i think this manga shouldn’t receive any more recognition other than that. it does show how vulnerable humans can really be when we are lost but the way they portrayed it made it as if it should be normalized and it’s just so disturbing and uncomfortable to sit through it.

first of all, mr fahrenheit. middle schooler, toxic household, likes his cousin, std, suicide. i just hated it. it could’ve been another person just not their family member. this manga addresses these issues in lgbtq+ community as a whole but these stereotypes are vv harmful.

second, that older guy mc was having an affair with. he fucking liked his son. OWN SON. DO YOU REALIZE HOW WRONG THAT IS?? i don’t want excuses like “ofc bitch he knows he’s pathetic that’s why he blah blah blah” the way mc said “oh for you to be able to label yourself that…” HES INSINUATING THAT HES MORE THAN JUST BEING A PEDO WTF. looked at how that guy groomed the mc. disgusting. his actions are unjustifiable.

ofc i hated the homophobes like that guy who exposed mc and i wouldn’t forgive him tbh but ig they were part of the story and it was kinda good but THE FUJOSHI GOD I HATED HER the fact that they think “oppressed” fujoshis should be given light and they’re more than just ppl fetishizing mlm

RIMMISH created a topic of Positively Yours

idk about yall but the female lead is definitely a strong character but of course in a different way. being strong doesn’t always have to be confronting your problem immediately and making a huge fuss about it. change in character doesn’t happen overnight and her current situation shows that she needs more support to be able to move forward with her life. not everyone needs a knight in shining armor but in some cases, if help is offered to you, you can’t afford to push it away given your situation.

i just can’t seem to agree about her having a weak character development. recognizing your own flaws is such a hard thing to do and if yall wanna rush it, that’s your own problem. it’s not that it’s bad to give your own criticism but just be patient. i personally don’t see this ending for a while unless they drag it on until their child’s birth cuz we gonna have problems with that but anyways yeah just be patient guys it’s not that big of a deal and the plot is kinda good for a drama manhwa so LETS SUPPORT THE AUTHOR GOOD ENERGY

RIMMISH created a topic of Ao no Flag

i don’t know what you guys think of the definition of a good ending but it differs for everyone. i’m gonna say my perspective on why the ending is the way it is.

i personally think that it was for the best that ichinose and futaba broke up. that is the reason why this manga is too realistic to be true. couples grow apart and break up because. i don’t think there’s any other reason behind it or otherwise, they already explained it.

if masumi confessed her feelings to futaba, it will be unfair for everyone, even it is unfair to begin with. imagine being in that situation, even i can’t comprehend something like that. i think the authors should make an ova or spinoff for the manga where we get each person’s perspective after story. i can’t seem to understand how those relationships of their built up and it would really be interesting to find those.

i also think that the ending should be the way that it is so that they can avoid dragging on the plot. the fact that they ended it abruptly just settles the mood that they successfully have achieved throughout the story. i don’t want them to change it.

i honestly love how you can’t really seem to hate the characters. you feel that they are just people trying to live their lives. the emotions that i felt throughout this story was a rollercoaster and as a masochist, i really enjoyed it. THIS HAS BECOME MY #1 MANGA OF ALL TIME THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
