Rape is a reality for a lot of people. It happens every second of every day. You drop the story because you don’t want to read it or see it? Fine, but it doesn’t stop it. The author is incorporating real events in a persons life into the story and it’s a brutal truth that it seems a lot of y’all aren’t mature enough to comprehend.

Honestly there was the warning at the beginning so if they didn’t want to read it they could have just not read the chapter, some people just can’t understand that this author is being realistic because real life as you said can be like this for some people.
What i’m saying. I mean the scene was very unexpected and kinda abrupt but so are real life occurrences and situations where people are r*ped.
