Coming back to this story on April 21st I can’t with these cliffhangers and the mixed emotions. Waiting a week for the story to not get anywhere is just annoying.

What exactly is this about?
The MC (the general) and his best friend (Deok-gae) have been friends since middle school. Deok-gae's dad used to be involved with the Yakuza but pulled out to open a barber shop to cater for general and Deok-gae. I guess the gang had some unfinished business with the old man and tried to forcefully take the butcher shop. That resulted in conflict that ended with the general killing all the Yakuza. So with murder under his belt ( I think he even served some time in prison since Baekari mentioned that), the general is forced to move to avoid his past and Deok-gae is moved to the police station in the district.
So the MC opens up a barbershop in a market that is controlled by the arigang. And that is where we are introduced to the Bark brothers.
Baek Mi-ri, who initially pretends to be Jangun, takes an interest in the MC. He is presented as a delinquent who was raised to take what he wants with violence. Then there is his older brother Baekari who basically leads the gang and is a whistleblower of sorts in the district. Their father Jong-un is a gambler with a greed problem who basically abandoned them as children and I think he is a member of the gang and has several crimes wracked but he his good friends with the police so everything is kept hush hush. Basically, Baekari raises Baek Mi-ri himself and ends up having to clean up the mistakes the gang makes and his father causes since he was a child. As he grew he became more successful and amassed more power than his father did
So, the guy who was killed in the beginning was originally hit by Jong-un because he stole money from their safe (in a casino? Not really clear on that part) . Jong-un attacks him and then blackmails Baekari into covering up the murder. And the general just coincidentally moved into the neighborhood at the time which made it all too convenient. Since the MC already had a criminal record, Baekari spreads some rumours about him being violent to get him arrested to pin the murder of the guy on the MC. But, Baekari Mi-ri who is basically infatuated with the MC at this point, interferes and there is a big fat confrontation where the truth comes out.

In MY opinion, the seme had a right to be mad. Why would you introduce me (your lover) to someone that you slept with because you missed me and then have the audacity to say they are precious to you??? I would get mad to wtf.
