I'm really hoping that this manhwa won't take a dark turn. It's my first time wishing that a manhwa won't follow the novel fully

It's a bit toxic, but I think the ending leaves it open for healing (haven't read the side stories though)

Well huge spoiler, it’s probably how you’ll realize Karas is definitely less human and more dragon at the end. He was very rough during their first time (mind you it’s both their 1st time) and forceful. He definitely couldn’t control his urges and I think Abel bled. It wasn’t a sweet and sexy love making at all. It was a bit painful to read. It was probably the most disappointing part for me. I was hoping he’d be gentle to him and doting, and patient… but what can I say…. He basically became stronger than the REAL dragon. Which makes him imo less human. That’s why I was happy when in the manhwa they showed some of his imperfections and emotions because in the novel… he was COLD.

It’s all a happy ending in the end. Just gonna be really dark before it gets there. Though I believe it won’t be as dark as the novel because even the orgy and constant blowjobs and sex scenes between the “fake” regas and blonde villain and that bearded villain was cut and not shown at all. It should’ve seen some already and we should’ve seen most of that bankrupt member of their council or whatever but we didn’t. So I’m gonna assume the manhwa isn’t gonna show all the dark parts of the novel. Their rough sex scenes is important to the story but I hope it’ll be toned down or censored.

He won’t. I’ll let you in on a spoiler.

He is incredibly so powerful now like in the current fight with the enemies that are scheming against him? He is only playing. He can kill EVERYONE, and end this game but he chose not to because it’s boring. In the end he plans to kill everyone except Abel (￣ε(#￣)Σ and he tried. Then he changed his mind and was fully convinced no to when Abel told him something. It tugged at the little humanity he has left because at that part of the novel you really couldn’t consider him human anymore tbh so you can’t expect him to sympathize with humans. But he did tryna make it right and took his role as a king a bit more seriously, though it’s all because of Abel. The real Regas is really the only person who can tame their dragon. No one, I mean no one wants any smoke with him. No can make him pay or suffer for what he did. Because the only way one can make him pay or suffer is to literally hurt or kill Abel.

Hmm, that leaves me to feel it's just pretty toxic until the end.. with the end being Able is not dead and not terrified of the ML at that point, perhaps he loves the ML also.. but I don't care. . This is little comfort for me personally. I found such charm in this story.. I understand what this story is about from here on out... it's just not my fav story that I've been reading. Just a matter of taste of course.

Even then, he ain’t just suffering, he is gonna go rampant. But maybe Abel turning away from him, showing the feeling of betrayal and not wanting to associate with him at all will show it

Unfortunately no, Abel is the only person that will never get mad or will always forgive Karas. At the end he said something like if Karas starts destroying everything to kill everyone, he will just help them and keep finding a safe place till then (Imm paraphrasing but the intent of the conversation went like that). He never and will never say “Karas that’s evil/you’re evil” or something because he is mad at Karas or ignore him. Abel might be the only person alive that will never ignore Karas even if the whole world does. That part of Abel is also one of the reason Karas changed his mind in destroying humanity. That one kind human is the only reason everyone at the end of the novel is alive.

At the end though if I remember correctly, not related to Abel ignoring him or getting mad but when everything was already done and peaceful xD….. everyone was getting frustrated that Karas wasn’t doing his job as a King. So they gave him everything he needs to do and kind of forbade him from seeing Abel till he’s all done xD they finally found a way to control the king in the best HAHAHAHA by using Abel. So he did his job even tho he was upset just to see Abel. Abel also went with the flow xD
