i just want ml to writhe in regret for the way he treated mc that boy did not/does not deserve to be treated the way he was/is. none of what happened was his fault, he was just a kid (in korea, they count the 9 months ur in the belly so he was technically 16 or 17) when he met ml and was basically groomed to be ml's lover/guide, only to be dropped and scorned at just because of the ml's misunderstanding. he had no where to go and was forced to work and live in a place that didn't value him before having to work with a man who he knows hates him
what the hell... i was waiting for drama to ensue when he finally learns the truth but it just ends like that??? well, ig it would be hard to come to a sincere happy ending with a male lead like this the least they could've done was make him go through several life cycles, change as a man, and sincerely repent for what he did, but nooooo, he just HAS to be unremorseful and have little to no character development. and the character development that they do try to give him is so last minute and ass. "I'll stop spying on him" wow the bar is in hell i knew i was wasting my time but holy shit it was worse if an ending than I thought
He went through 9 life cycles.
He may not be as sincere but he did change. Eventually, like Seoyo, Narye's soul with completely disappear (Since the curse is lifted by then). He befriended him and got to know his family. That's completely different from V1.
k so I never said he didn't go through those cycles, but i get the confusion with the way I worded it. I was listing the order in which he could've gone through his redemption arc.
As for the change in character, yes, he did "change" but he doesn't do it because he became a better person, he did all of those things with an ulterior motive. He's not getting along with seoyo's family because he wants to, he's doing it for the same exact reason he shot mc in the ankle for, to possess him by any means necessary. the only change he undergoes is the patience and methods he learned in order to achieve his goal.
Yeah, thank you for clearing the first part up for me (⌒▽⌒)!
The 2nd part, agreed. He did change but not to better himself, but because he's changing tactics. I do think the change will be permanent once he fades. But it's all up to the reader.
