irl, theres sooo many talented athletes who are disabled and/or girls who 100010% deserve recognition but realistically won't coz A) its so common and B) most ppl would rather watch/talk about "the alphas" (irl able-bodied men)

I get that it's hard tho, I myself struggle with telling ppl what I want (where I wanna eat, etc) coz im scared they'll hate the suggestion but wont tell me and just go along with it, he obviously has trauma attached to his feelings so I cant even comprehend HOW hard it is tho

I typically see children and their adult version as different people [in fiction, but ig a lil bit irl too].
Like the child version OBVIOUSLY affects the adult, but (as bad as it sounds and as unfair as it is) there also reaches a point in adulthood where u have to mature despite having a horrendous upbringing and sickening parents
SOOOO in this case, ML can suck it (derogatory, not literally), but his childhood self deserves all the empathy and understanding (ps i say child but i mean but until hes a real adult/frontal lobe developed for the most part)
