Just remembered that sasya could have left earlier. The Madame tried to help him leave but he refused. He stayed at that station because he knew karel would come. Why do that to someone you don't love. First he does everything to keep Karel interested and then acts like Karel's love is a burden. I'm still not faulting him for leaving that house but he completely abandoned Karel. And for what? Fame, prostitution and alcoholism. He even was happy and gloating about Karel loving him instead of the Madame. I understand his circumstances but I can't see the love he claimed to have for Karel. He was dependent on him and possessive too. He was obsessed with the idea of Karel leaving him and did everything to prevent that. He wasn't in love. Karel is also a possessive fool and like sasya seems to stem from his upbringing. Again I say they both need a psych eval and should be committed.
Tbh they both need a psych eval. Karel is obsessive and was quite naive and sasya is a sad soul that is incapable of love( at least so far). The relationship was frankly doomed but yeah I don't fault sasya for leaving and I also don't fault karel for hating him. I just wished they went their separate ways completely. I wish an author would be bold enough to make that kind of storyline. I don't know how you can come back to love and sometimes some romance need to end for everyone's good. Karel is obsessive and angry, sasya is pathetic and a user. They're both mentally ill
This foolish father acts like he's so pitiful for marrying the empress meanwhile he married her to use her family's power to become the emperor and then neglected her. Does it justify her raping him, absolutely not but he is a user. Used her family to get the position and get his rivals out of the way and now wants to care that she's offing rivals. She probably killed rishars parents and that's why he care cause he sure didn't care when his brothers were killed.
This is so bland. The mc is uninspiring. He does not provoke any emotion. This concept is nice but the execution is very poor. One dimensional characters, boring art and predictable lines. I will continue to read anyway
