It’s been a while since I read a bl story with a mom as the problem. This used to be such a common concept in the past. Like the typical woman who needs dick to feel a tiny bit of stability so she keeps bringing different men home so they can act like her son’s father. I hated that type of women in bl back then and I still do.

And the Macbeth quote at the end? I mean, I was kinda expecting this and it feels thrilling. But at the same time the change in Dylan in only ONE chapter feels like a joke to all of us readers. With the concept and the lore, and how it was developed in the beginning, I could have easily read a 500 pages book with this story. Now it feels like they kill it with a stone. I’m not even mad, kinda disappointed but after the last five chapters I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece ending either.

This story is very far ahead in the raws. And it gets sadder and sadder with each passing chapter.

They end up together. But Youngsoo does it out of guilt because Joongdo keeps spending money on him. The guy is loaded. And he realized that the only way to get the attention of Youngsoo is his money. So he starts using it to tie it to him. And eventually Youngsoo does fall for Joongdo but Joongdoo’s friends talking about how Youngsoo is only ripping his money make him consider his pride and all that and he kind gets depressed. Their relationship gets rocky because Joongdo realizes money is not enough anymore to make Youngsoo happy and tie him to him. So, he starts trying to find ways to make Youngsoo happy. But the dude is too much in his thoughts and can’t make up his mind wether he should be with Joongdo or not. After all, Joongdo changed his entire personality just to be liked by Youngsoo. And that’s what’s sad about this relationship. It’s that none of them like each other for who they truly are. It’s been forced and worked out only thanks to Joongdo’s money so far.
