Plus, I thought the bottom was smarter but he’s so easily agitated by the top that makes it boring. I wish he could have had more of a personality and attitude towards the top. The characters are really attractive but I don’t want to get attached or a story and wait five years for a simple full screen kiss.
This story was so promising in the beginning. I’m a fan of slow burns but not like this. The slow burn is enjoyable when they both long for each other but for whatever reason can’t be together just yet. But this type of slow burn is inefficient and unsatisfying. Because it’s hard to believe that in this day and age (this story is set in a modern period) two adult men lack so much emotional depth. You mean to tell me two grown men don’t know if they like the other or not? I’m assuming is due to Koreans lack of communication skills. But this is beyond that. Plus, SPOILER. This story dragged soooo much and just in the last four chapters Jewon confesses and they fuck and start dating. The conclusion to the story, after so much dragging and inability to identify their own feelings, was too abrupt to the point of being boring.
I still come back out of habit to proofread my own translations, but I give it a 4/10.

Season two will only have 20 chapters so something tells me we already crossed the hardest part of the misunderstanding. Season two will probably start with Nanjo’s pov and then they’ll settle things with Sunhwa and start being lovey dovey right after.

Feels like it was written by a 16yo or something. The whole bdsm was so amateur-like when the seme is supposed to be an expert bc it’s his kink and all. The earrings as nipple piercings felt so awkward and wrong too. Like who tf uses normal earrings as nipple piercings.
The drawing of the uke was awkward altogether. The dude looked like he had snorted cocaine the whole time. His expressions were always off and uncomfortable to watch. And the drawing style is not bad. The seme and the wife were super attractive and their expressions were well drawn. But the uke looked in shock the whole time with his eyebrows up. Like the dude was on drugs the whole time.
I know it’s a short story. So I get the lack of attention to detail but it felt vain and of bad quality when there are short stories out there that are a lot more fun or interesting to read. Take the fallen lamb as an example.
Nanjo likes Mokyeon. But he’s not used to follow his desires. Since he’s a chaebol and all. He has to maintain certain perfect image. That’s why he pushed away Mokyeon when Sunhwa opened the door. Because he doesn’t want him to see his flaws. But he feels more himself, more comfortable with his desires, with Mokyeon. He’s been more faithful to Mokyeon than he’s ever been to Sunhwa.
Maybe he hasn’t been planning to snatch Mok from the beginning, but what I thought was true. He actually likes and feels more attracted to Mok. Sunhwa was just the door to his true sexuality. And since Sunhwa plays the innocent little girl, he felt Sunhwa wasn’t gonna demand too much from him, emotionally and sexually speaking. That’s why he’s in denial regarding Sunhwa’s true personality. Because that means that he has to accept that he was wrong and that the one he actually desires is Mokyeon.
I don’t even know what’s gonna happen for the next and final chapter of season one. I’m guessing Mok will actually penetrate him. Since Mok realized Nanjo has been more faithful to him than Sunhwa and he also responded the kiss so willingly even while Sunhwa was in the next room. Mokyeon now knows Nanjo also desires him. There’s no way he’s gonna back off now.
I can’t wait for Nanjo’s pov and too se how Sunhwa will exit this relationship once he finds out Mok and Nanjo like and desire each other!
I agree with everything you said but I really wish Mok don't penetrate him there. it kinda makes it seems like nanjo is being used or being treated poorly against his will. if you understand what I'm saying. but that's just my opinion I rather see him walk out and leave them there letting nanjo coming to his own realization that he actually like mok
i also find it interesting how nanjo started to replicate mok's mannerisms when it comes to the intimate stuff— even when he kissed him during their shower thing, he was doing it the same way mok kissed him in the earlier chapters. same with the kiss in this chapter, holding his head. also, his ears go red when he's with mok, never with the twink, it's kind of a cute vulnerability/ honest reaction. i'm not too sure if he also was doing it with the twink the same way mok was doing it with him, from behind, but i'm kinda sure that in the earlier chaps he preferred doing missionary with the twink. anyway, i agree with your interpretation!!
No I get it. Honestly both options are fine with me. But Mokyeon realized that Nanjo is indecisive because of his chaebol position and superiorty complex. People like Nanjo don’t communicate because they have an image to maintain. They don’t act in their desires or likes. That’s why Nanjo said “does my wellbeing matters?” Because he’s not the type of person who puts his needs first. Which means that if Mokyeon leave the decision to Nanjo, nothing will ever change. People like Nanjo need a shock factor to either change their minds or make a decision that benefits only them. Mokyeon realized this after the kiss. He knows now that if he doesn’t bring out Nanjo’s true nature by force, Nanjo will never admit he likes and wants him instead of Sunhwa.
It’s because he feels comfortable with Mokyeon to let out his true nature and desires. But he’s also probably in a dilemma. Because he has a negative opinion of Mokyeon “he’s crude, rude and sadistic. If I accept him, does that mean I’m also like him. Then what about the image I’ve so carefully created my whole life? This is the type of wholesome story that people who dislike good plot development love I guess? It was a cute story to read when there’s nothing else to read but it’s boring. This is when you write a trope and not a plot. The trope is omegaverse. Therese sex and a baby. That’s it. There was no room for development or improvement because the characters immediately talked things out. This is why most author don’t use communication when writing stories. Because they’re boring like this and it doesn’t give room for any kind of plot development. Definitely the type of story most moralists would enjoy though since there’s nothing to marinate and talk about.
I did feel like they did mess up with the pacing and fleshing out some parts but it was a cute story in the end still. I wish the author spend more time putting obstacles between their bond for it to seem like their relationship was that much more put together and real. But of well, I feel like it's hard to expect really good stories sometimes
Lord help me. I cannot wait a week for this story. I know Narim promised that Mokyeon wouldn’t sleep with Sunhwa again, but having Mok ask Sunhwa to spend the night with him almost gave me a heart attack. If it wasn’t because Narim is trying to make us hate Sunhwa less, they would have slept together again! The plot saved us. But then again they’re gonna have a threesome again. How is that not Mok sleeping with Sunhwa again? Unless this time Nanjo and Sunhwa start with the sex, so Mokyeon can prove to Nanjo that Sunhwa has been manipulating him into having rough sex and then Mok can’t take it anymore and shit hits the fan by either Mok trying to take Nanjo bc he can’t stand seeing him having sex with someone else or by storming out of the room.
