I know they’re end game with the way this author is but I really wish for Dan to never end up back with this pos. No amount of groveling will ever be enough to counteract the damage he’s caused Dan regardless of if Dan acknowledges it or not. All of the unnecessary assaults and the emotional/psychological abuse he subjected Dan to is something as a reader I will never forgive and the only way my hate towards Jaekyung could ever be satiated is if the author allowed Dan to be happy and at peace for once away from Jaekyung, whether it is by himself or with a new and actually caring person.
Not really a spoiler since we reached this part but in the novel ML actually tells our bb that he stinks (literally) three times to convince him he needs to shower

Even after reading all of the latest chapters and seeing that, once again, the director asserted that Sasya worked hard all on his own to get to where he’s at, I’m 1000% certain those who were hating on Sasya unreasonably will still sustain that he sold himself to nobles for money and fame
Looking at all of those who argued with me when I asked to just wait until the story unfolds before jumping to the conclusion that Sasya never even tried or even cared for Karel like… bombastic side eye. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I think the sentiment about this story is pretty much unanimous— nothing the author does about Jaekyung at this point will be sufficient to redeem him. The author could’ve chosen to make him aware of his feelings and begin his change for the better but instead chose to make yet another reason for him to behave worse than garbage. No “redemption” arc will make us forget what a true piece of shit he’s been throughout the ENTIRE story. I’m sorry but at this point Kim Dan is better off disappearing and never getting close to the trash Jaekyung ever again, and for potato and Heesung to become the protagonists of the story istg
Rereading the official chapters for more accurate translations is simply painful. I’ve been saying this from the beginning but this story is far too tragic and unfair to the mc. He made a mistake in hiring people to scare his cousin but anything outside of that is not his fault, he couldn’t have predicted for things to take such a dark turn. Even then, he still blamed and punished himself because of his “sin” but the way he “pays” for it is a million times worse. It’s a true living nightmare and I can’t help but to cry each time I reread it. ╥﹏╥
I just looked at volume 1’s raws and I’m saddened to see that we were robbed off the cute extra right after chapter 6 where it explains Avel's sudden haircut ╥﹏╥ That being said, does anyone happen to have the link for volume 2 raws? (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
