I’m heartbroken for Theron tho. Why did the author showed us a cute side of him in love. Why show his human normal side? I wouldn’t have to suffer liking his character knowing he will go to the path of doom if this a very dark, heavy and serious series. He might do lots of crimes, gets retribution, loses the throne, change for the good but loses everything then becomes a commoner, be exiled.
The lighter ver might just be him realising he cannot win Charlotte, gives up, prays for their happiness, and set Arthur free (high chance Arthur doesn’t want to become King) so he’ll stay as King and live life.
I hope he will have a side story with his heroine.
For the late previous king, Usher. That character and his life is too tragic. *cries* But it doesn’t excuse his crimes for stealing Elizabeth. It’s just that for having such a dark and painful life, he never got a pure happiness he could call his own. In the end he even died as their greatest villain. *cries harder* Can someone give him an isekai mc or smth please lol
And Elizabeth, I feel so bad for her. Imagine life going downhill just bc you choose the person you love. And these men declaring so much love for you but in the end still doubt your loyalty. Hah so much for loving her. *rolls eyes*
Imo i don’t feel bad for Theron at all, he neglects his brother when he did nothing at all. Because of his jealousy of arthur he can’t even let him be happy. Arthur and charlotte belong together, arthur should be able to get happiness after all the attempts Theron tried to kill him with.
Of course Arthur and Charlotte belongs together and in no ways I want to break their destined future. They are like soul mates. What I’m saying is, if only Theron was portrayed as pure evil, I wouldn’t care how he will end up. I only hope for his redemption and maybe find his own heroine.

I’m glad I already read the novel before the manhwa came out or else I would be having so much mix feelings and frustrations like other readers here. The novel was more slow but very informative of their feelings and thoughts. i think the manhwa couldn’t fully express with limited panel and faster pacing.

It is actually scary. I once lost my hearing and when I went to the doctor they told me I might go deaf and I couldn’t stop myself from crying. I’m fine now but I will never forget what I felt back then.

Idk for others but i love the story tho and the girl. Yes she’s not the smartest cunning mc nor is level-headed and that is her character. If she was, do you think she would have lived 22 years of her life hiding away from her sisters, from everyone that might threaten her life? If you get a freedom that you don’t always have, you can become quite reckless w/o knowing it.
