I think when Jesse said he wanted to grant Law's wish, he meant he wanted to free Law from "his control" by preventing him from coming to his house and avoiding Law?
I guess he felt that Law couldnt mourn for his family or be himself because of Jesse and his mother's control.
And due to Jesse's dismissal and lack of further explanation, Law's yandere mode activated? XD
Because for Law:
the loss of his parents = freedom
being able to participate in Moritat and be acknowledged by Jesse's mother = Equality
Equality = can now probably freely love Jesse
So Jesse shunning him made him feel like he was still under Jesse.
That would make sense. We'll see what happens next! I wish Law would just straight up explain that to Jesse (even though he's explaining it pretty thoroughly right now), but he hasn't got to explain the equality part of the last sequence because now Law is bleeding again. Idk how this is gonna get settled in only a couple of chapters! The only thing I can think of is perhaps Jesse actually dies and Law kills himself or something of the sort. Honestly the only way I see this ending right now is with them both dead, but we'll just have to wait and see!
I actually saw the raws for 51-52 and the end is not as bad as we think.. :)
But i agree this whole mess wouldnt have happened if the 2 of them were just more honest. Actually jesse has been surprisingly honest in the flashbacks. Law just keeps misinterpreting him. He overthinks. And really, your thoughts in the ending were my exact rhoughts too!
That is incredibly intriguing all things considered! I look forward to the next couple of chapters then. :)
Yes! You've summarized their relationship's core issue perfectly. Law definitely overthinks and it causes him to easily misunderstand Jesse. I thought I hated Jesse (and I did when Law first started recounting their past), but as Law's continued to tell it, I realized more and more that Jesse is being as honest as he possibly can be with the one person he feels he can be honest with, and Law is trying soo hard to equalize himself that he's completely missing the point. (I probably didn't word much of that right and sound confused myself but!) tl;dr I totally hear you there!
why did you have to spoil (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 give us at least a warning
So apparently Moritat is only 52 chapters. I didnt understand anything since this type of story, words are more.important than the action. But...

It was a good ending. No smut though. But the pair reconcile eventually. :/ ugh i wanted some tragedy or more smut.xD
That's because youre in the English version of Lezhin. You need to go to the Korean version instead.

Can someone explain to me the relationship between the main girl and the black haired possible love interest dude? I am halfway through the 1st season and i am hella confused. Is the black haired guy a psyhopath? Does he really like the mc? Is it revenge becus she laughed at him???? *mind boggled*
Ohohoho~
My advise is to just continue reading the story + don't skip any chapters~ the answer to your question is nearly there..at the end of 1st season

Friendly remainder, this is a type of manhwa/manga that have flashback-present plot and not your typical straightforward manga plot
Even with the latest chapter, the plot haven't matured yet. There's more drama in every chapter thus more questions pops out

Hahh???????! This manga made me angry.
The uke was dumb. Granted, he lived a sheltered cocoon life.
The seme was a class a(sshole) with a major in douchebaggery.
Yoh. Gangrape isnt cool. I read about gangrape in yaoi, and i normally overlook it if the story was smut for smut. This story was supposed to make us think it was a beautiful tragedy. Im just like whattttttttt the emotional manipulation here is off the charts. Mannnn i got to stop ranting. Im so mad. I woulf prefer the uke end up with his cousin
Ughh i am craving for more karino x azusa. I cant wait for the update.
I know their relationship is twisted. But i like how twisted and fucked up it is. Brutal semes abusing the poor uke (yet the uke still stands strong. Azusa is my fave seke. He wont let his being a target make him feel weak and pathetic. I like that. )
@-@)/ can any other manga compare? (Aside from killing stalking of course)
One person abusing another isn't a relationship. It would be awesome if azusa gets out the situation he's in and finds a real lover.
Yeah i want more of these two. I honestly dont pity or sympathize with azusa.1. In the beginning ge were treating karino and everyone like shit. Treated karino as a pet dog. Karino showed his true color once he mm got the king card and use that to control azusa.. what the saying "Karma is a bitch" and how he didnt treat the girls right either. This interesting and hopefully there be a new update
So basically.

Law put Jesse in Moritat to control him and as part of his revenge plot.
Nothing in Moritat was real. The only thing that was partially true was: Law's parents dying (not Jesse's), hemophilia (Jesse's illness), jealosy of the maids (of course Jesse didnt sleep with them), being plagued by demonic mother visions (probably law's view of his nagging mothet?)
Everything else (Jesse begging Law to stay, falling off the balcony, restarting moritat in the snow, etc) didnt happen.
The flashbacks in summary show us that Jesse was a brat who majipulated Law. But as they grew older, Jesse realized that he loves Law. So he banished Law from his house and from him to grant Law's wish of not wanting to be controlled. So we are supposed to take this as a romantic gesture.
Law is triggered by abandonment. So in order to have Jesse, not lose Jesse, control Jesse and monopolize Jesse; hence Moritat. XD???
THIS make so sense thank you!
WELL MY HEART IS BROKEN but eh what did I expect? This wasn't supposed to be a cute love story of over coming anything. This was a tragedy really. If both their moms were bitches maybe they would've had a chance
*werent
Bless you friend, because I still didn't understand what happened.
Wow thank you for sharing! That was kinda comforting and pretty shocking that it is.... Never mind.. People ahte spoilers
*hate
Omg thank you I understand it a lot better now
Thank you so much this makes a lot more sense. Spoiler for chapter 52 sorry, in the end Law and Jesse end up together and they actually do live happily together.
so wait, for jesse its like "if u love someone let them go" right? cos he want law to be free and not be the company's dog. but law thought when jesse abandoned law, law thought its jesse's plan to control him make him want jesse.
he doesn't want to be controlled (even tho he was freed he didnt let go) so he tried to get back at jesse?
Point is jesse freed law but law didnt let go even if he doesnt want to be controlled?
Law u one confusing son of a hoe
I agree with u, but i don't think that jesse banished law because he lives him. I actually rhink that jesse didn't want that law became his mother's dog. Maybe, jesse understood that he is in love with love only at the very end, after the moritat experience.
By the way, i loved this manga, but the ending is very disappointing to me. I really wanted more drama, lol.
Now this is where I disagree with you about Law. Law BEGGED for Jesse to let him go at one point, which you will remember if you did INDEED read it, but Jesse refused to. It was only when it benefited HIM that he decided to let Law go WITHOUT HIS CONSENT. Kt.
