the reason why contract marriage plots are so popular in hetero romances is that they involve hard boundaries b/t the two that are respected. much deliberation & plot is given to the merits & demerits of such boundaries & why/when to change the boundaries. trust, respect, permission, consent, consequences of breaking boundaries. plus, sort-of-guidelines on how to control a domineering/overly emotional partner.

am i the only one who appreciates kawano as a character like yes i love snakes?

I guess I don't consider her well-written. Her motivating factor seems weak (the backstory) and she's one-dimensional. Some of the other villains have had more of shades of grey. She just does the same thing--seduce men--and there's not a hint of her personality beyond that--no regrets, remorse, no other interests.

Maybe. :) Same here. I can read one-dimensional characters, but I guess because this one is just hard to relate to. I mean, I can relate to wanting too be queen, or wanting a better boyfriend, or wanting to get revenge on a cheating husband or mentor, etc. I can't relate to this villainess. She's just a nasty slut.
whyyyyyyyy can't kasia just have a HAREM??????????
Bc ppl be naturally greedy and selfish. Not everyone will like their partner being swayed and swapping between others. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ If it works for some ppl then it is what it is
