As a lesbian growing up in a very religious and homophobic country I felt the weight of this story on my heart I usually avoid topics like homophobia cause I know how much stress it actually causes me but I didn't expect this story to be so relatable with the uke having fears Abt coming out and stuff like that and the fear of losing your family because of it reading this story I bawled so much and started having a panic attack because of how real the weight of the situation was and I've been avoiding the truth of situation and carrying on with my life as if being queer wasn't going to affect me somehow in my relationship with my family...so yeah 10 of 10 story beautiful writing and illustration
