I absolutely love this BL story and have reread it many times. I prefer following the timeline from the ancient story, then moving to the 1940s, and finally to the present. This approach lets you see how events connect, giving you insight into why things happen the way they do.

There’s no justification for the seme’s behavior—his stalking and taking advantage of the uke while unconscious is inexcusable. However, the story intertwines deeply with the concept of fate. In Korean culture, inyeon refers to the ties or connections between people, believed to be predetermined across lifetimes. In the ancient timeline, the seme and uke were lovers, but their relationship was complicated by their status as master and slave, and by the fact they were both men. Their past life ends tragically, with the uke dying from illness, leaving the seme devastated. Despite wanting to follow the uke in death, the seme is forced to live for his child. This unresolved love carries into their next life. In the 1940s, the seme encounters the uke again, now a North Korean escapee. Though they reunite, the seme is ill and doesn’t live long, likely dying while protecting the uke. In the present day, neither remembers their past lives, but fate catches up to them again. The seme’s obsession and madness seem to stem from the memories his soul carries—he’s watched the uke suffer and die through multiple lives. There’s also a mysterious link between the seme’s wealthy family and the buckwheat storyline from the 1940s, suggesting that the seme knew he would be reborn to meet the uke again. (My theory) This manhwa is fascinating, filled with hidden details and glimpses into their past lives. The layers of fate and unresolved love are incredibly emotional, and every time I discover more, it moves me deeply.

i know in real life things like this doesn't happen, it's not like the creepy stalker that's been secretly tormenting you is handsome asf, only happens in fiction, i imagined if smth like this happened to me I'd prefer to die on spot

it's literally THEE BEST one I've read in a minute, I'm sucker for crime thriller, obsessive partners, and a mind blowing plot and storyline- this is just PERFECT

i just finished the first season in one sitting, it was really interesting!! The art style is v beautiful, both the Sunbae and Hyung are hot asf and Hanjoo is adorable BUT one thing that confused the heck outta me was that we KNOW that the hyung is not a human, he's some supernatural being that's related to Hanjoo’s childhood experience and his wish to the mountain spirit about having a family, BUT what happened after that?!?! Did Hanjoo even come back to his dad? Why did ONLY the hyung saw him? Because in several scenes most people didn't knew about his existence, even if they do its all negativity and stuff like that (mentioning Sunbae’s friend who said Hanjoo is cute and he never noticed before.. tf was that) .. So my question is, did that mountain spirit (the hot hyung) latched onto him ever since he made a wish??? That's why it was affecting the uke’s interactions with others??!

Anyways!! i like the Hyung and Hanjoo more and i want them to end up together (but since he's not a human we've got a thin chance ╥ ╥) The Sunbae isn't that bad himself, i like that he doesn't take others negative opinions and treats Hanjoo good because he has a soft spot for him ( BUT that still doesn't justify his harsh actions and hurtful words towards Hanjoo.. i mean if he starts to take Hanjoo’s feelings into consideration and treats him respectfully he'll be fine)

Idk about others but I really wish Jooin will end up with CAIN!! He maybe a lil suspicious but doesn't have any bad intentions..and he's wayyyyy better than Yahwi (kitty sunbae or whateva)
CAIN Deserve to be with Jooin, I've a very soft spot for him ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
