I usually avoid endings like these, but for once I liked it and found it appropriate. It isn’t that I am happy with what they become, but honestly a happy ending wasn’t going to be realistic. They’re both showing narcissistic traits.. people who use and manipulate others, and only think about the outcome when it concerns them. Both characters deserve the miserable lives they have now. I would love to see a sequel where they part ways, leave that awful corporate world and go on a healing journey and try to become normal people who deal with their emotions. Anyway this was a nice and intense read, despite the dark themes. Most of the times, I hurriedly read the smut parts because it wasn’t to my taste. Sex without nay feeling but the will to dominate the other is so empty and disgusting. I feel bad for the secretary. More than anything, I wish he would have had his happy ending and met a lover who helps him forget about his previous boss...
I love revenges stories though so I must admit i was a teeny tiny bit satisfied towards the end. I just wish e’s stopped at acquiring the 60% shares and left it at that. And now im thinking, if this was real life...if the story continued... The outcome I see for Han Jaehyun is suicide. Poor man...
I wish there was more backstory :( to understand things and also to see how his mum lived the traumatic event.
But other than that, it was nice.
