I love rereading this story, and it might be just me, but I felt like the plot with the weird pet chasing father and the drug addict son was wildly different from the rest of the story? When it happened it gave me whiplash lol. I felt like it was pretty unrealistic and the story could have been the same even without those parts. Idk maybe I’m salty that with all the blood sweat and tears they put into June it didn’t become successful at the end..
