Also when my friend first recommended me this, I thought it was some plain smut. But it was way more than that. I feel like the deepness of the emotions and the characters really shine through. The bittersweet and melancholic undertones of this story is really heavy. I felt like it could have easily spiraled into a dark depressing bad ending. The main character really changed a lot throughout the story. It makes me wonder what would happen if he didn’t resort to porn. This story also does a good job on shedding light on the deeper side of the porn industry, more of the effects it has on the actor’s personal lives and stigmata they bring with them.
