Update: I read all available chapters on the official site (it’s free so you should too). The guy’s only moment of redemption was when he realized that he fucked up in prioritizing work over staying by his wife’s side during labor and as a result made her completely vulnerable to his sociopathic relatives. I was definitely feelin some schadenfreude when he ugly cried. That prick was long overdue for a reality check. And so now his options are (A) let baby die (B) let wife die (C) maybe save baby and leave wife brain dead.
